Rust handler #95
Comments
Interested in anyone has found a solution for this? |
Someone mentioned on the Gitter/Matrix channel that they were able to write something for Rust, but weren't ready to share it. I'll try to get some news. |
This someone is @gl-yziquel (based on their username in Gitter/Matrix). Sorry for tagging, feel free to unsubscribe 😄 |
@pawamoy @digitaltopo I have the very very very beginning of a solution; able to get very very rudimentary rust info into mkdocstrings. But it's very hacky, with shell tools to massage the rustinfo json. And the output in mkdosctrings is "hello world" level. I'll get back to it when I find more time. I don't mind too much sharing it if someone wants a POC, but... |
If you're OK with someone else continuing the work in a fork, it could be interesting to share, yes. But I don't want to rush you or anything, so no worries if you prefer waiting! Thanks in any case for your answer here, appreciate it |
@pawamoy @digitaltopo I'm OK with it. I just don't have the mental bandwith to clean up before publishing. So feel free to ping me until I finish cleaning it up. |
No worries, and I won't ping you if you don't have the bandwidth. No pressure. |

A Rust handler. The ecosystem shows that Python and Rust like each other 🙂
