Saint Helena, Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha share a combined cca3 code SHN. See also http://www.iso.org/iso/iso_3166-1_newsletter_vi-7_2010-02-22.pdf

So Saint Helena and Ascension Island are not listed separately according to the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-1_alpha-3 list.

If you list them separately they have different ISO 3166-2 codes http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166-2:SH

SH-AC Ascension
SH-HL Saint Helena
SH-TA Tristan da Cunha

Phone Codes
+290 (Sainte-Hélène)
+247 (Ascension)
+290 8 (Tristan da Cunha)
+27 (Gough Island)

Shouldn't Ascension and Tristan da Cunha have their own entry then? From the link above: Ascension Island and Tristan da Cunha, previously dependencies of Saint Helena but raised to equal status in 2009, are exceptionally reserved the ISO 3166-1 alpha-2 codes AC and TA respectively on the request of the Universal Postal Union.

@ruimarinho oh sorry for the late answer, I forgot this issue.

I don't think that having three seperate entries for Saint Helena, Ascension and Tristan da Cunha is a good idea because they would all share the same ISO codes. A similar issue has been raised in the past regarding Svalbard and Jan Mayen (see #77).

I propose to leave it as is for the moment.

@ruimarinho I've been thinking about this issue today and I've opened #93 to try to fix the inconsistencies in some entries in this project.
