Hey guys, we would be happy if you guys use this.
That being said, we will stop using it, in favour of a fork of Xamarin.Essentials (one that includes a PR that we implemented: xamarin/Essentials#1674 ).

I tried to use Shiny however, I see it difficult what complex is. So, looking forward for that integration with Essentials.

Well, the PR is already opened for some time so they might never merge it.
So we have a fork of Essentials here: https://github.com/nblockchain/DotNetEssentials , feel free to try the BackgroundTasks feature.
