Just open finder.
Open a 2nd tab. Finder will be shrinked to half of the screen, just as there is another app occupying the other half.
Open a 3rd tab, Finder will be shrinked to 1/3 of the screen.
Press shortcut to move finder to different workspace.
Only one tab is moved there.
