Proxy url options is not called

I have copy code from existing_canvas and I add proxy link that I log when get this link but its not call to this proxy url how to fix its

        html2canvas(document.querySelector("#content"), {
            proxy: 'http://localhost:3000',
        }).then(function (canvas) {
            console.log('Drew on the existing canvas');
        });

Were you able to solve this, I am also facing the same problem, I have setup proxy user and added it but it doesn't get called form html2canvas
