As per nodejs/node#18998 (comment) I've put LimitCORE=infinity into /lib/systemd/system/jenkins.service on the debian 8 and debian 9 test hosts: test-digitalocean-debian8-x64-1, test-rackspace-debian8-x64-1, test-rackspace-debian8-x64-2, test-softlayer-debian8-x86-1, test-digitalocean-debian9-x64-1, test-softlayer-debian9-x64-1
This needs to be removed at some point after it's no longer being used, so this issue is a reminder that someone should do that at some point in the near future.

FYI as per my latest comment at that issue I've installed jessie-backports on our test debian8 machines and upgraded systemd and installed systemd-coredump on those machines in the hope that we might actually get coredumps from underneath Jenkins and stored in the global coredump location.. we'll see though.
This issue is stale because it has been open many days with no activity. It will be closed soon unless the stale label is removed or a comment is made.
