There are no applicable changes that I saw. Is there anything in particular you're concerned about?

Two applicable changes in section 8.1. Character Encoding:

  • outside of closed eco-systems, JSON now MUST be encoded in UTF-8 (previously UTF-16 and UTF-32 were legal)
  • JSON text that is not networked-transmitted may now add a byte order mark (U+FEFF) (although not stated explicitly).

I'll update the article and the test files shortly.
