exclude folder from sourceSets

is there a way to exclude some folders from the check?

My project includes some generated source code, and I add that to sourceSets with:

sourceSets.main.scala.srcDirs += [
  "$buildDir/scrooge/scala"
]

The Scalastyle plugin automatically picks up that up, which was my problem.

I don't think it's the best solution, but I worked around it with:

afterEvaluate { project ->
  scalastyleMainCheck.sourceDirs.set(files("src/main/scala"))
}
