Oauth2 returns 403 error from google auth server for using unsecured embedded browser in iOS

Using Google as the authorization server returns Error 403: disallowed_useragent
Google doesn't seem to allow the embedded web browser.

I couldn't find anything on the issue specific to QField only that other apps have that problem.

Is it just understood to not use google as the Auth server?
Can someone comment if google works on the Android app?

auth2 configuration copied from QGIS where it works with no problem
