Stretched scanning zone

Hello,
I'm getting issues when adding phonegap-plugin-barcodescanner to my ionic app.

The scanning zone is stretched/compressed. The scanning process is working but it's difficult to capture to qr code. Please see the above screenshot.

Is there anything missed or wrong ?

This error is occuring on my Android 5.1.1 device (oneplus 2).

might be fixed with an updated zxing version? journeyapps/zxing-android-embedded#33 (comment)

The one shipped seems to be old (file-name says barcodescanner-release-2.0.1.aar I think this is the bundled zxing intend). See also: #124

@macdonst We have the same issue here. Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9". The image looks stretched, our square QR code looks rectangular.

Using the latest version (6.0.8) with Ionic native.

Is there a resolution for this? Seeing this on many android phones. Doesn't affect the scanning. Just the the view.
