Positron and OS details:

Positron Version: 2024.11.1 build 15
Code - OSS Version: 1.93.0
Commit: d82871d
Date: 2024-11-26T00:25:17.707Z
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_15_7) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/131.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Interpreter details:

Describe the issue:

If the console pane is too narrow, switching back and forth across various elements will end up hiding the console behind the ...:

Screen.Cast.2024-11-26.at.2.41.12.PM.mp4

For folks new to Positron, this could be confusing as to how to get the console back.

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. Shrink the console to a narrow range
  2. switch to other tabs, like output, then click on the ... and hover over "Debug Console"

Expected or desired behavior:

Prefer or always show the console to switch back to.

Were there any error messages in the UI, Output panel, or Developer Tools console?
