Oh I did search for documentation and there was none. At least none that looked like anything helpful or legitimate.
Otherwise I probably wouldn't have spent the time on this rant eh.

GitHub god's gave you people the wiki sides for a damn reason. Use them. It ain't that hard, every bootfucked modder out there seems to be able to do so for their own and everyone else's sanity.

Clearly you did NOT search up the term, as when I did for you literally the very first result is a reddit post of someone asking what retrogen is and getting a clear answer.
As a modder myself, we should not have to document every single little feature when the features are self-explanatory. You have the entire internet at your fingertips; USE IT.
