Lombok breaks (any) eclipse autocomplete #763
Comments
👤 ari.haaman 🕗 Aug 20, 2014 at 12:13 UTC lombok_1.14.4 breaks Eclipse the same way as in peichhorn/lombok-pg#1, editor autocomplete gets broken if installed. When I remove lombok parameters from eclipse.ini, everything gets back to normal -javaagent:lombok.jar I've been using earlier version (don't have the version number available anymore) of lombok without any problems Ive tested this on 3.7, 4.2, 4.4 (on windows 8 machine) |
👤 r.spilker 🕗 Aug 21, 2014 at 20:37 UTC Could you paste the stacktrace you get. Is it the exact same trace, down to the last linenumber, as issue #74 of lombok-pg? That seems unlikely. An up-to-date stacktrace will help hunt this bug down. What else is different? Other than a stack trace showing up in your log, what else happens? Note that lots of people use 1.14.4 and eclipse 4.2 or 4.4 without issues, so there must be some more detail to this. Thanks! |
👤 r.spilker 🕗 Aug 22, 2014 at 11:03 UTC The current edge release has an option to disable the configuration system. Reports so far suggest that that solves the problem. You'll need to modify eclipse.ini as specified in the changelog.
We're currently awating more feedback before shipping 1.14.6. You can contribute by:
