Dependencies unclear and installation very difficult (Linux) #339

The current project cannot be installed easily on linux.
Dependencies are unclear and therefore it needs a lot of reverse engineering.

It would be nice if the requirements.txt would be enhanced as well as the setup.py to allow an easy installation.
