Effectively immediately I am transferring this repository to the python-hyper organisation, and granting administrator access to @njsmith, @sethmlarson, and @tomchristie. They will be taking the lead maintenance role on this project going forward. There will be substantial changes coming down the road: please be aware of that!

Interesting. So this seems to be a project unification driven by naming and mission compatibility? The referenced issue above seems mostly about the former, I'd be interested in a link to the discussion of the latter.

If, as it appears, Hyper is unmaintained (no commits to master since 2017), and since it comes at the top of search results for "python http2 client", would you be willing to start directing people to HTTPX instead?
