All citation keys changed

Recently, it seems like all my Betterbibtex keys changed. I have a deadline for my dissertation on Wednesday and would not like to change about 200 entries manually. Does this have to do with the recent update Zotero or Betterbibtex? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Nothing in BBT or zotero updates changes keys. Only two causes I can think of for mass changes; mass updates to items, or the deletion/corruption of the bbt database.

The best way to guard against this is to autopin keys, but that won't help after the fact.

The database is not on a cloud drive?

Thank you. I just think the database was temporarily corrupted for some reason. It works now. Should think about pinning them for my next project. Does that require betterbibtex?
