This is a weird issue, but in sbcl, compile-encoder is working correctly when run in the repl, but not when it's executed normally as part of a file.
compile-encoder
(let ((encode (compile-encoder () (name) `(("name" . name))))) (funcall encode "James"))
When run from the repl it returns "{\"name\":\"James\"}" which is correct, but when it's loaded from a file, it instead returns
"{\"name\":\"James\"}"
`(("name" . "James"))
I'm on sbcl-bin 1.4.15, but I've also tested it on 1.4.13 and the results were the same. The issue doesn't arise in ccl
