Motivation

I would like to be able to use the landscape orientation of the page when taking some notes

Solution

In the dialog where the background options are there should be an option to switch the orientation of the page to landscape. An additional option could be to do this per page

It would be a huge enchancement. The app is fantastic but it lacks that feature.
