MDC Issue: material-components/material-components-web#674
MDC Issue with more details: material-components/material-components-web#547

Dropdowns don't have labels right now, and it is difficult to tell which dropdown to use when you have a bunch of them together, for example in Drupal's content filter form.

Until this is fixed in MDC, use labels and custom style.

Also, potential techdebt if they change the DOM.
