Feature request: Add extension support to makeMarkdown #924

Since the package is a bidirectional converter to/from Markdown and HTML, extension support should be available for both makeHtml and makeMarkdown.

As a user eagers to customize the behavior of makeMarkdown, now I have to accomplish this in a dirty method.

That is indeed planned for the next version, 3.0
