[v3] defaultLocale example

Can someone post an example repo that uses v3 with i18n where defaultLocale is enabled?

Eg:

import nextra from 'nextra'
 
const withNextra = nextra({
  theme: 'nextra-theme-docs',
  themeConfig: './theme.config.tsx'
})
 
export default withNextra({
  i18n: {
    locales: ['en', 'zh', 'de'],
    defaultLocale: 'en'
  }
})

Per nextjs documentation, defaultLocale should be the locale you want to be used when visiting a non-locale prefixed path e.g. /hello.

I get a 404 on http://localhost:3000/, when in theory, it should display the content of pages/en/index.mdx

One workaround I found so far:

/pages/zh/index.mdx
/pages/de/index.mdx
/pages/index.mdx (don't create the "en" folder)

Then for next.config.mjs:

import nextra from 'nextra'
 
const withNextra = nextra({
  theme: 'nextra-theme-docs',
  themeConfig: './theme.config.tsx'
})
 
export default withNextra({
  i18n: {
    locales: ['', 'zh', 'de'],
    defaultLocale: '' // use root for your defaultLocale, in my case `en`.
  }
})

@dimaMachina, could you let me know if this is the correct approach for v3 if I wanted to omit /en/ or /en-US/ from the path for my default locale?
