Contributing a small script

Since we are running a label-printer printing single labels as required, we've written a small script that generates a label for a given ID and hands it to our printer. I'd love to share it and thought about adding it to a contrib/ directory in the project root. But seeing how there is not yet one, I first wanted to ask whether there is a preferred different way of contributing this.
