Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I have central printers in some locations i want to checkout consumables (toners) to the central printer as an asset but i can only checkout consumables to Users .

Describe the solution you'd like

I am not a coder but can't you copy paste the way we check-in/out an asset to the consumables code ? :D

Hey @Rayyyy0 I think that's how Components work not consumables but yes, It would be great if consumables you could do this also because it has the functionality of stock levels and multiple items per consumable list.

Adding A Consumable Tab beside component in each asset would be cool
and instead of

Check out Consumable to User, It's just check out consumable

And give you an option to check out to User or Asset

This is very similar to the need I have.

I have multiple cables that I have to take out on jobs with me, so being able to check out / scan out, say 10 of 1 type of cable and 2/3 of another cable to a location would be so helpful to make sure we don't leave cables behind when the job is finished.
