Can't update payment method type on admin #2789

Steps to reproduce

Go to admin
Go to payment methods
Try to update an existing payment method
Change the payment method type
Click on update

Expected behavior

Change the type of the payment method

Actual behavior

Not working, it's not saving the new payment method type
