It seems to me that at the stage where the screenshot has been taken and the red and black images are created I always get some kind noise that eventually when convert it to a grey scale image create some kind of noise.. anybody have an idea how to overcome this problem?
@speedyg0nz do you maybe have a Tipp? Your images don't show sich artifacts:)

@seschu I just figured this one out tonight. It's because the image is created as RGB and not a single bit depth as they do in the EPD examples. If you reconstruct a 1-bit image based on the black and red it should fix it. I would make a PR, but it looks like the project is dead and there are a bunch of PRs in limbo.
