Hello! I'm Giovanni Pellerano (evilaliv3), from the internet, currently in based in Milan in Italy.
I'm a hacktivist on a mission to support whistleblowers and human rights defenders through secure and easy-to-use open source tech. Since 2011, I develop GlobaLeaks, a secure and anonymous whistleblowing framework that is currently used worldwide by more than 1000 organizations for projects in the fields of investigative journalism, anticorruption and human rights defense.
In my free time I try to move forward the Tor2web software, originally developed by Aaron Swartz to support freedom of information.
I'm a long-time supporter of FOSS and develop patches for every software I touch and issues I notice.
I'm mostly interested in technologies related to networking, anonymity and cryptography. My main contributions are in support of OpenPGP.js, scrypt-async.js, FlowJS, SniffJoke, Contiki.
I'm as well interested in continuous integration and quality assurance and for every library I use I try to reach the team to improve their development workflow.
