Make middle mouse scroll more sensitive #1463
Comments
Hmm. My middle mouse button is very responsive. Can you please test in other environments? |
It feels like it has been discussed earlier (with a PR). I also feel the same about its sensitivity. |
I will try on my Windows box tonight. I see no difference when running Chromium on Fedora on a Thinkpad |
If it is helpful: the sensitivity seems to be enough when I am on a laptop, but not on a desktop with a mouse "middle-scroll-wheel" (whatever it is called). I took a video that I can upload as well. |
Please watch this video to see what the problem is like: https://sandbox.musicblocks.net/test/media/VID_20181027_102625.mp4 |
this seems to be an issue with firefox browser , firefox provides deltaY property of mouse scroll in units"line width" unlike (chromium,IE,canary) that use pixel . more info : https://gist.github.com/akella/11574989a9f3cc9e0ad47e401c12ccaf . |
This seems to work for me. Thanks! |
My students frequently try to scroll using the middle mouse scroll. It works, however it is about 1/4 as sensitive as scrolling a page in the browser. If it were more sensitive, it would help the students out.
