These pickle files are entirely determined by you. For example, you can store bounding box of each object as 4 numbers and store the bounding boxes (those 4 numbers) of all objects in an image in a separate line. In this way, you generate the data and store them into bb.pkl for data processing later. You just need to stick to the format that you like so that they can be used later.
