@sonvnn I wish to help you translate the ini files into Arabic. Are you using tools to collaborate, or would you prefer that I write directly on the ini files?

@Joomlaplates @Chacapamac Can you share your experience with translation tools? We used Transifex before but they did shutdown the free package.

Hello, I do all translation by hand with the INI Editor
Translation was done with a great tool, you can download here. But please make sure you save the translation file in UTF format. https://sourceforge.net/projects/initranslator/
Friendly Regards, Peter

Hello @Joomlaplates ,

Thank you for the suggestion. However, the tool you're referring to is a bit outdated and works primarily on Windows. Since I work on Linux, I'll be using a simpler text editor like Gedit, which allows me to edit the translation files directly and efficiently.

Thanks again for your help!

Best regards,
Salah

Hello, @sonvnn @Joomlaplates @Chacapamac
I’ve tried translating and reviewing the text in Arabic, and I’ve noticed a few important points:

  • When the language is switched to Arabic, the Astroid administrative interface remains in LTR (Left-to-Right) mode.

  • The interface should be adjusted to use RTL (Right-to-Left) for better compatibility with the Arabic language.

  • Additionally, the text should be right-aligned to ensure better readability and visual consistency.

To make Astroid more popular and accessible, it’s crucial not to overlook RTL languages.

Thank you for considering these adjustments.

Hello,
thanks for your translation.
The RTL settings will be done by Browser setup and geo location. You dont need to setup manually.
Regards Joomlaplates

How to enable RTL in Chrome?
Shortcuts: Ctrl+Shift+J -- switch to RTL Ctrl+Shift+E -- switch to LTR Note 1: If one or both of the shortcuts don't work, it means that something else is mapped to them. Chrome allows you to remap extension shortcuts, and you can remap the shortcuts to something that isn't in use.

Hello,

When I change the language of the Joomla administrative panel, the entire CMS interface correctly switches to RTL (Right-to-Left) orientation, even when I’m using a browser set to a different language. Therefore, I believe this issue should be resolved on Astroid’s side, as the CMS itself handles the direction change properly.

Thank you for your attention to this.
