I enjoy using slit, and I think it has great potentialities.
When using C for context, I'd like to be able to recognize more easily the lines that are "just context" from the one that I selected using filters.

A nice way to do that would be using colors, giving selected lines a different colors from context ones. But other ways are fine, too.
