Problem with Changing Colors of Stars in Annotation

Hi!

Thanks a lot for the package! It helps solve a lot of problems I have been experiencing with annotations. Just one small issue that I noticed: When I try to create plots with a dark background, while it is easy to change the color of the brackets, I am having a hard time adjusting that of the stars or the annotation itself.

I feel like that should be a relatively easy fix so it would be nice to have that option in a future version. Maybe it is already possible.
