Hello.
I installed the module: Ajax Filter FREE (by Filter and by search keywords).
But it only works on default theme. When I change to materialize theme it stops working and I get in console that d_ajax_filter is undefined. Checking I realized that the css / js files are in the theme default folder and Its not putting the css styles on the page.
Why is it saving the files in the default theme?

While I may not be sure about why the files are saved in the default theme, it's important to make sure that the module is compatible with the theme. Some modules and other extensions will only work with specific OpenCart themes, and, getting the developer to tweak it to work for your specific setup usually costs a fee.
