In IE 10+, the document.body.clientWidth will come bigger. This results to a problem. If the content is small enough, It's looks fine.But when the height grow bigger,the content two edges are not equal cause the existence of the scroll bar.

Could you post a JS Bin or other live example that demonstrates the problem?
