Are you sure those are needed at all? Only reserved keywords need to be quoted IIRC.

@XhmikosR In JS, you're correct, but this is specifically in reference to data-* attribute values. Example: http://jsfiddle.net/349FT/

Ah, right. Without the quotes it's not valid JSON.
