Hi and thanks! Just some thoughts.
Useful? Who knows? Lol
Besides all you have here and apologies if I missed it, I use extended unlock in Samsung Android 14, S24 Ultra and previous models.
Hit or miss for example, Tasker launching an app and manipulation of touch points with Autoinput. I'm a Tasker greenhorn. So...
As you are probably already aware, extended unlock needs authentication again after 4 hours, it locks.
To get around that at night, and I'm aware of possible ramifications. Is what it is.
I use developer options for automations at night, "Stay Awake", and in modes and routines to set display to zero or 1 percent. Very dim.
Stay Awake only works while charging. One could with risk of burnin unknown, keep it plugged in if desperately needed to be awake in daytime. And just unplug or use accelerometer to make screen more visible. Battery damage unknown, if any.
How it might affect timers etc that are not used is unknown to me, but it stays awake all night and runs a Tasker automation at set time every morning. Hope this is helpful to someone.
