Describe the bug
It makes more sense to dim the mic icon in Gnome QS Tray like the speaker icon when they're muted.
To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:
Mute the microphone
Enable the microphone icon with an extension like Quick Settings Tweaks
Expected behavior
The microphone is not only crossed out but also dimmed like the speaker
Screenshots
Desktop (please complete the following information):
OS: ArchLinux
App Gnome Shell
Version 44.5
Additional context
You might not see the mic icon at all unless you're using it with some app, so you will have to either use the Quick Settings Tweaks extension for Gnome or join a discord call or start an audio recorder to see the mic even after muting it to see the mic icon.
