Named panes

Hello, this title might not be the best idea for the feature I'm talking about (chances are it's actually doable and I just didn't find a way to do it in the docs).
Anyway I've stolen part of the config posted in one of the issues, that allows toggling panes.

I'm very happy with the result, but ideally I'd like to have another pane that I could toggle separately. This code above relies on pane count so that doesn't really work for my case. What I'd ideally like would be something like

local tab = pane:tab()
local panes = tab:panes_by_name("right")

that would allow selecting specific pane (or creating it if it doesn't exist).
My goal is to have 2 separately togglable panes, one on bottom, one on the right.
Is something like that doable right now?
