An alternative solution: just add some code to check whether ads on your website is working. I'm coming from https://chan.sankakucomplex.com/(caution: nsfw website) and this website is using this lib to detect adblockers. Which interested me is that I'm using uBlock Origin but still got detected. Then I checked their code, and found they are not only using this lib but also using a little piece of code that checks whether their ads is hidden from page, which detected my adblocker.

It basically adds an invisible ad, then on postload it checks if the hidden ad was removed or how?

Yes, I think that's what it does.
