Firefox version: 76 (from official distro repos - see below)
Platform version: Ubuntu 16.04 with the latest updates

I've found out about this extension by a complete accident and decided to try so I installed the extension via add-ons mozilla site from here: https://addons.mozilla.org/ru/firefox/addon/goodtwitter/

Right after the installation I've noticed that CPU usage was increasing dramatically. Then, in addition, it was huge usage amount of RAM. In those rare moments when my host is not in a complete freeze I try to open about:addons to remove the addon but I see the blank page because obviously the browser is not responsive anymore. Yes, I have a pretty big amount of tabs (including twitter ones) so maybe it relates. Although I tried a lot of extensions in the past (including for twitter), none of them didn't make such a dramatic performance impact right after the installation on the fly.

Do you tell to the extension to do something in particular right after the installation? Any ideas what it could be? I see that some tabs with twitter are trying to reload themselves but now the freezing is going for more than one hour already (@ CPU Intel i7 4GHz & 16GB RAM) but I can't quit Firefox properly now but at the same time I would like not to reset power because the recent versions of Firefox are not very friendly to restore sessions properly after that so I think that I will try to wait for another one hour or so hoping that it will unfreeze by itself.

P.S. Please, tell me that you don't force to reload all twitter tabs on installation even those which are in the "backround" (in firefox terminology, i.e. tabs not touched after session restart), do you?
