Also - explicitly list the OS version in configuration files.
Biggest reason for this change - GCD objects are not managed by ARC before, and we have quite a few usages of those, which would leak.
Since next version - we are going to require 6.0/10.8 at least, if there is a need to aim for the old iOS/OSX - people can still use the previous version.
