My name is Matthias Labsch a.k.a. Labschi, I'm a software engineer based in Ettenheim, close to the Black Forest in Germany. I'm a full-time employee currently working for a german automotive supplier. In 2019, I started a small business where I offer consulting and developing services for other small businesses and associations. I have a disability called congenital muscle dystrophy (CMD), so I got the name "Dev On Wheels" and used it for my business. It's nice to meet you!

I'm also dipping my toe into Arduino programming to develop a pet project of mine, a wheelie detector for my wheelchair. If the fun part works, I'll develop some serious applications for it as well.

• Despite my disability, I was practicing japanese martial arts for over eight years.
  I hold a black belt in Kenjutsu (fencing) and two gradings in Jujutsu (grappling).
• In 2019, I participated in a charity run for children rights.
  I finished two kilometers of relay race in my wheelchair before my collegues took over on foot.
• On November 2022 I was elected Deputy SHE-REP (Severely Handicapped Employees Representative) for my current employer.
• In my free time I'm building and painting tabletop miniatures and scale models or trying to finish my RC truck in 1:14 scale. And it will never be finished, I'm afraid ...
