How to enable Auto update

Auto update for Exchange EWS provider is enabled by default
During release in github, thunderbird add-on manager prompts user for update. Once new add on is installed, To see new update, please restart your thunderbird.
Note:if you have already selected ignore future notification of releases, your thunderbird will not show any update prompt.
To change alert status manually
Using Ubuntu
- Edit->Preference
- in the Preference window choose Advancd
- Select General Tab
- Click Config Editor
- Proceed with warning
- Under "Preference Name"
- select "extensions.1st-setup.others.warnAboutNewAddOnVersion" change to "true"
- select "extensions.1st-setup.others.checkForNewAddOnVersion" change to "true"
- Restart your Thunderbird.
''You should change the Adress to the new home''. Maybe someone can help to do it in the right way? I think "extensions.1st-setup" should be replaced.
