How to enable Auto update

Auto update for Exchange EWS provider is enabled by default

During release in github, thunderbird add-on manager prompts user for update. Once new add on is installed, To see new update, please restart your thunderbird.

Note:if you have already selected ignore future notification of releases, your thunderbird will not show any update prompt. update

To change alert status manually

Using Ubuntu

  1. Edit->Preference
  2. in the Preference window choose Advancd
  3. Select General Tab
  4. Click Config Editor
  5. Proceed with warning
  6. Under "Preference Name"
  • select "extensions.1st-setup.others.warnAboutNewAddOnVersion" change to "true"
  • select "extensions.1st-setup.others.checkForNewAddOnVersion" change to "true"
  1. Restart your Thunderbird.

''You should change the Adress to the new home''. Maybe someone can help to do it in the right way? I think "extensions.1st-setup" should be replaced.
