Without a range, and printing when --debug is used, to be quickly used for adding (colored!) debug output.
They were intentionally not exposed, they are V2-only. Remove the internal code too.

The only externally visible change should be (2), the rlimit one. @nikswamy do you think that's ok? If so feel free to merge.
