in a multiplayer server (no issues seen in singleplayer when replicating the bug), upon swapping off of the gravity gun while holding a prop by pressing gravity gun button, the prop will visually freeze in place, it will synchronize again with where it physically fell to while frozen visually once the weapon other than the gravity gun is usable, i have only once replicated it freezing permenantly until interacted with. frozen props breaking like from a bottle being dropped unfreezes where broken.
note this is seen from using the gravity gun button in the controls, i did not scroll, press a number, or use fast weapon switch, just the dedicated gravity gun button.
lowering and raising weapon deploy speed gave away that the issue is caused by the item being frozen visually until the new weapon is done being equipped, this is a very notable bug on sv_defaultdeployspeed 1 but more missable on sv_defaultdeployspeed 4 which garry's mod sets as the default, but sv_defaultdeployspeed 1 is what weapons are intended to be seen at and is relevant for gameplay balancing. set sv_defaultdeployspeed to 0.1 and produce the bug to prove the it is tied to the next weapon not being usable yet
i also tested this in Half-Life 2 Deathmatch and saw even worse behavior where props may permanently remain in place after swapping off gravity gun.

Steps to reproduce
start a sandbox game in multiplayer
get gravity gun (not physgun) and a prop that can be picked up, like a barrel
right-click the prop while close to it with the gravity gun to pick it up with the tool
lift it from the ground and press the gravity gun button to see the prop visually freeze while physically and audibly falling as normal.
