##Calibration work on AWS
Run 3 year model and 1 month model runs. How long does a single run take? 1 month: 0.11 hours
Document what parameter values are fixed, how determined
Document assumption used to vary calibration parameters with depth (wilting point, vertical conductivity etc..)
Copy Fast_Run3 to PNNL_3year folder - Change name of output files to indicate period of time modeled
##Logging into AWS
Access Amazon computer using the following link: https://cband.signin.aws.amazon.com/console
AWS password: decrypt from Alg1Alg3IdeaEgg
Change services to EC2
Change location to Oregon
Activate dhsvm_dream_fast instance in not running (right click, select “activate”)
Copy Public DNS location
Change directory to location of dhsvm_dream.pem file
/d/UW_PhD/dhsvm/InstructionsandReferences/calibration
Make dhsvm_dream.pem file read only
chmod 400 dhsvm_dream.pem
activate shell script to control amazon computer
ssh -i dhsvm_dream.pem ubuntu@ computer location
example: ssh -i dhsvm_dream.pem ec2-54-202-241-48.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com
to log off aws computer: type ‘exit’
writing files to_aws (must log out of aws computer )
scp -i dhsvm_dream.pem Sauk_PNNLWRF1hr.zip [email protected]:
downloading files from_aws
scp -i dhsvm_dream.pem [email protected]:/home/ubuntu/shiv/raw_liv/Input.sauk.dynG.raw_liv.2006flood .
sign up at AWS email help with ID and budget number get .pem key
chmod 400 dhsvm-incubator2018.pem.txt
ssh -i "./dhsvm-incubator2018.pem.txt" [email protected]
