Describe the bug
When enabling packet capture (right click on the link -> Start capture), an error message SSL handshake failed (HTTP code None) appears in the gns3-gui interface. The error is repeated in both Traditional and Live capture modes.

Connection to the GNS3 server is configured using a self-signed SSL certificate. Fix applied: GNS3/gns3-server@035a104

GNS3 version and operating system (please complete the following information):

  • OS: GN3 gui on Arch Linux
  • GNS3 version: 3.0.2
  • Remote controller with SSL encryption (KVM, created from official image for ESXi)

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  • On the GNS3 server, activate the operation using a self-signed SSL certificate
  • On the GNS3 server, apply the fix: GNS3/gns3-server@035a104
  • Start packet capture in the gns3-gui client
