Hi,
I have a SUN-12K-SG04LP3-EU and made the setup using a mcp2515, esp32 and an jk-bms

It seems that I get an error and not all the information are extracted in the inverter details

Should I ask Deye about a firmware update ? or there is something I can dump to help debug this ?

Please attach a log file from the ESP32 (drag and drop the file)

I have not used or tested my code with a mcp2515, have you tried a TJA1050?

I would keep the wires to the mcp2515 very short, under 10cm, SPI is not very robust.

Edit have you measured the CAN H to CAN L it should be 60 ohms with both ends connected.
You will need a jumper on J1 to enable CAN termination on the mcp2515.

Maybe use one of my Interface boards it's robust and just works.

didn't had the option to buy the other adapter in my country and didn't want to wait for that can as I saw in the forum that mcp should work
so I added the jumper, measured and there is 60 ohm

Logs look ok.

You will need to leave the jumper on J1, does it work any better with it on?

sadly no change on the inverter

Now seems that the error disappeared, SOC is read correctly but some of the data are still missing (the ones with 0 in the pictures above), maybe I'll try a firmware update ?

Does it have a charging voltage displayed?
The charging current will be 0 until the ESP "Charging state" is Bulk

So I think that Charging enabled is buggy, if I set it disabled and esp is rebooted, the state is not read correctly, thinking that is on.
Enabling the charge will display the rest of the information correctly in the bms info

If you reboot the ESP it will default to back to Charging enabled: ON, this is by design.
