As per the discussion over on WordPress/gutenberg#64312, we'll need a slightly different approach to stabilizing the border block support.
The stabilization of typography block supports serves as a guide here. There is also already a Gutenberg PR following that guide in WordPress/gutenberg#64330.
If you don't mind, I'd recommend closing this one while we pursue #64330, which will then get backported to core in due course.
I'm closing this PR in favour of WordPress/gutenberg#66918 which follows and enhances the approach to stabilization set out in WordPress/gutenberg#63401. Those Gutenberg PRs will be backported here to core in a slightly different fashion. Rather than using a block type args filter, the plan is to address the stabilization within the block type class itself. Thank you @benazeer-ben for helping explore possible solutions to stabilizing border supports. It's appreciated 🙇 |
