Added All Star Versus
- Battle against a friend with a custom lineup of fighters. Adjust settings in the new rules menu.
Added Tag
- Attack your opponent when tagged to tag them . If you're "it" when the countdown ends, you'll lose a stock. The countdown is random and isn't displayed, so make sure you tag someone else quick! Projectiles don't count!
Added Turbo Melee
- Landing an attack grants you "turbo", as indicated by your fighter flashing pink. Use turbo to instantly cancel your current attack into a different one!
Volleyball
- Added single-player mode where the ball is automatically returned. Set time to NONE and enter a match with 1 player.
- Imposed a serve timer of 8 seconds.
- Increase court scale when 3+ players are present.
- Entirely overhauled net collision. Now using custom box collision instead of Melee's collision system.
- Ball now has a generated trail behind it.
- Adjusted the glow along the edges of the court.
Peach's Castle
- Increase size of bumper
- Bumper now has 362 knockback angle like in Smash 64 (sends in the angle you touched it at).

Akaneia Build v0.6 - The Volleyball Update
General
- Compatibility changes in preparation for Slippi 2.3.0.
Volleyball
- Added Best of 5. Game count is indicated under player score. First to win 3 games wins the match.
- Added Deuce. When the score is 10-10, you must win 2 points in a row to take the game. Advantage during deuce is indicated by the arrow near the player's score.
- Can no longer hit opponents on the other side of the net. Friendly fire is preserved.
- Can no longer hit the ball on the other side of the net. Any hitboxes that cross the net are disabled, as indicated by the sound and graphical effect.
- Added rally counter to scoreboard. Topmost number on scoreboard will display the rally count.
- Player percents are now hidden.
- Player damage is now locked at 0%.
- Possession bug fixed, team will no longer score a point when it explodes on their side.
- Fix crash related to Sheik's chain crossing the net.

The Akaneia Build is a ground-breaking Melee mod that adds new viable and authentic content to the game such as costumes, stages, and more. The mod is powered by m-ex, our own system that allows for streamlined expansion of content in Melee. This mod is compatible with Dolphin, Nintendont, and GCN.
A script to build The Akaneia Build is provided in this download. xDelta for Windows and Multipatch for Mac are included in this download to patch an NTSC v1.02 ISO of Melee with the proper MD5 hash 0e63d4223b01d9aba596259dc155a174.
