- Latex cannot include svg images out of the box. Therefore use png version of two images, if the pdf is build.

During my work on issue #2038 I recognized that the documentation was not updated on the development branch since the PR #2010 after a pull request. For undeclared reasons, the preview build still works.
The build log of sphinx doc says:
Build output directory for format "pdf" contains multiple files and it is not currently supported. Please, remove all the files but the "pdf" you want to upload.Therefore I tried to build the pdf local and find out, that it is not possible anymore, because.svgimages are include, which cannot be included by tex by default.I'm not sure, if this PR will solve the build problem and also issue #2038. But at least, it is possible to build the pdf local again.
